Security and checkpoints at the entrances to the museum have been strengthened as part of the Vigipirate scheme on high alert.
- Suitcases, travel bags and rucksacks larger than A3 are prohibited.
- Bags and other personal items will be inspected when you enter the Museum.

from Niort

Enter La Rochelle, Bd Sautel, dir. centre ville

from Rochefort

Direction Gare SNCF then centre ville

from Laleu airport or Ile de Ré

Ring road, exit St Eloi, Bd Sautel, dir. centre ville

Car parks nearby:
Free car park Esplanade des Parcs, free parking rue Chasseloup Laubat, parking to be paid for Place de Verdun (monitored underground car park – open from 6am to 1am for users),
